La Dauphinelle offers women victims of domestic violence and their children a safe refuge and professional psychosocial support to enable them to regain power over their lives and realize their full potential for self-realization and self-determination.

La Maison d’Évelyn, a new shelter with 14 secure transitional units, will provide a continuum of services to women and children. The opening of the house is planned for fall 2025.

« Children occupy a central place in La Dauphinelle’s approach. While young people between 0 and 18 years old and their mothers will be welcomed into our new safe transitional accommodation house, Maison d'Évelyn, the support of the Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Kids will make it possible to offer them an adequate place to live. and adapted to each person’s age. Babies, children and adolescents accommodated in the 2nd stage will be able to live in a safe, soothing and warm environment so that their time at La Dauphinelle is as smooth as possible. »
